From a panel of prospective jurors, 12 are selected at random. If there are 200 men and 160 women on the,?
panel, what is the probability that more than half of the jury selected are women ?
answer is .244, but I don’t see how they get that..
the possibilities are 7w&5m,8w&4m,…..12w&0m
so the no. of ways selecting is-160C7*200C5+160C8*200C4+……+160C12
I DONT THINK THE ANS COMESUP TO B 244
