Clipper Blade Fits
What type of electric clippers should I be looking for to clip my Jersey (cow) yearling for shows?
Ideally, I would like to be able to rent or borrow clippers for the season, as I don’t know if I will need them the next year, but don’t think that is feasible. So in order to shop for some clippers, I need to know my stuff!
How many speeds are necessary?
Do I really need all the different sizes of blades?
What size of shearing head?
What blade size is most often used?
I am looking at many that advertise that they stay oiled for over 100 hours, or they can keep working all day long: I don’t need those! I just need clippers that I can fit my calf easily with every 2 weeks or so during show season.
I am new at this, so any answers you can give me are fabulous!

I use 2 sets of clippers/
I use the big Sumbeam/ Oster Clipmasters for the body and small Oster A-5 for the trim (face and legs).
You can find both for good prices on ebay.
